Frequently Asked Questions
I already offer IV or ketamine infusions — why add Spravato®?
Spravato® is covered by most insurance companies, resulting in a dramatic increase in patient demand. If you want to attract more patients, increase your revenue, and enhance your bottom line, then adding Spravato® as a service is an excellent choice for you.
We don’t accept insurance yet — can this still work?
Yes, we will assist you in understanding and implementing all the billing and coding requirements so you can manage the billing in-house. If you prefer to use a billing company, we can help point you in the right direction for that as well.
How soon can I start billing for Spravato® treatments?
There are multiple steps that we will help guide you through; the faster you complete your part, the sooner you can start billing. In general, if you are already credentialed with the payers in your area, you can typically start billing in less than 60 days. If you are not credentialed with the payers, the process will likely take 90 to 120 days.
Does this course include medication supply?
No, medications for your practice must be obtained through licensed pharmaceutical distributors.
